Dr. Abby Humbles — President of the Dunlap School Board
With over 30 years of experience in education, Dr. Abby Humbles has dedicated her career to shaping the future of students and schools. She served as Superintendent of Norwood Schools for nine years, following 14 years as a Principal at Norwood Primary School. A passionate educator, she has taught grades 3, 5-8, and English as a Second Language, as well as in the Master’s Program at Bradley University.
Dr. Humbles holds a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Illinois State University, a Master’s in Educational Administration from Bradley University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, earning a 4.0 GPA. Her lifelong commitment to education, administration, and leadership continues to impact students, teachers, and the broader community.
